In a democracy, it must be possible to hold the government to account. This means more than just being able to oust the fuckers at the next election. IMO, Brown (and others) are guilty of culpable negligence with regard to the safety of military personnel.
Scarfe is wonderful isn't he ! K, so now the Govt. are running a bit scared and have promised some decent kit for the forces, let's make sure they don't backslide during their enormous holidays.
Banned, I'm positive that Browneye will try to kick this into the long grass again over the summer holidays so I totally agree with you about not letting it slip.

ReplyDeleteAgree completely - this labour govt has shown parliamentary democracy and 'the voice of the people' to be a sham. It needs complete reform.
