Jeered, scorned and ridiculed - still BNP's Nick Griffin milks his moment in spotlight on Question Time
Nick Griffin was booed, jeered and mocked by a hostile television audience on the BBC's Question Time last night. But the British National Party leader's priceless air time still left the Corporation facing accusations of 'publicity-seeking' naivety.Senior Labour figures warned of racist attacks in the coming days, leaving the BBC with 'blood on its hands'.
Heckled: Nick Griffin's controversial appearance on Question Time, where he was mocked and jeered
Mr Griffin ran the gauntlet of 1,000 angry (UAF) protesters who had laid siege to the Question Time studio at Television Centre in West London.
At one stage, around 25 people stormed inside the West London building as they attempted to find the Question Time studios.Flares were let off and women dragged kicking and screaming back outside by security guards.
Mr Griffin, meanwhile, was smuggled in via a side entrance by up to 40 dark-suited security guards.
Inside, he attacked Mr Straw saying his own father was in the RAF in the Second World War, while Mr Straw's was in prison for refusing to fight. (No comment from slippery Jack on that one)
What a complete and utter farce the BBC allowed Question Time to become, tonight! What an unbelievable waste of a golden opportunity to have a normal programme and to question Nick Griffin on his party's policies on the less obvious issues like education, health and economic policy, for example. My guess is that he would have been completely flummoxed by those questions and that his replies to those questions would have done a lot more to expose him, (and his party), as incapable of running the Country. Does anyone know the BNP's views on those subjects? I think not because nobody has ever asked him - they are all too busy vilifying him for his beliefs to ever be able to get past this narrow area of questioning and probe any deeper. Absolutely fucking pathetic, really, when you think about it!
This programme has been hyped to death over the last few weeks by both the BBC and the press, ensuring a rent-a-crowd of fascist UAF thugs and morons outside Television Centre, funded by Labour and bussed by Labour councils to cause trouble wherever they are deposited, and let's not forget the boost to the BBC's viewing figures.
It stood to reason that some of these twats would try to gain entry to the building and, naturally, some of them managed to get in. One of these ill-informed and heavily-manipulated/brainwashed students said, as he was arrested and ejected from the building that he was "exercising his democratic rights" - well excuse me, son, climbing over a barrier and forcing your way into a private building is not yours or anyone else's democratic right!
The other moron ejected with him said "they forced us into a corner" - what the fuck else did you expect, you twat?! The particular corner they had reached and were forced into has a door that backs onto one of the studios, (if that studio is the one where the programme was to be made, they already knew where to go, which is suspicious in itself to say the least), and the escalator in that corner leads down to the basement level with access to offices, dressing rooms and everywhere else - once down there, simply by coming back up a flight of stairs to ground level they would then have access to all of the studios.
The only reason that the BNP achieved 1,000,000 votes in the European elections and will do well again at the General Election is because they address the legitimate concerns of the indigenous British public that the three main parties will not touch with someone else's bargepole let alone their own - immigration should not be a taboo subject - it is not racist to be alarmed by the sheer numbers being allowed to enter the Country and the no-go ghettos breeding radical Islamists in British cities. The three main parties, particularly Labour, have brought the rise of the BNP upon themselves and they continue to ignore the concerns of the British public at their own peril.
