So much bollocks smeared with shite in the "news and disinformation" today that I can't even be bothered to talk about it, so instead, here is an absolutely fucking fantastic live performance at a Pink Floyd gig which should hopefully help us all to relax and wind down a bit - especially if there's a spliff on the go.
Real Talent, real musicians, real stars - love it, love it, love it!
Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Spider.
Thanks, D, I'm glad you enjoyed it, mate - I've just been doing the same myself - ahhhh....that's better. :)
ReplyDeleteThis one stood the test of time, RIP Syd.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely, mate - seriously soul-stirring beautiful music. :'(
ReplyDeleteAh - the soulful chops of Mr Gilmour. Been a fan since See Emily Play. First caught them live at the Pacific National Exhibition Grounds in Vancouver B.C. in 1972. Blew me away - so did the mescalin.
ReplyDeleteLong ago and far away now.
This track has always been one of my favourites. Thanks.
Spider, That Helped.
ReplyDeleteGreat find, Spidey, I'll watch tonight when I get home from the wars. Thanks for your nice comment and interest. I'll write you more in depth this weekend...it keeps adding onto the saga and new dev'l every day, so it's better to wait and give you the short, complete version! Let's just say the mafia and the klan have nothing on this bunch. ah ha ha
ReplyDeleteThose were the days, mate, glad you liked this. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy to help, AOM - they manage to be very stirring and very relaxing all at the same time. :)
ReplyDeleteThis will hopefully help a little, Bunni, and I'll look forward to hearing from you in the next few days. :-D
ReplyDeleteGotta love the Floyd. Thanks for that.
ReplyDeleteYou're most welcome, LSP - music doesn't get much better than this. :-D
