Barking,, Just phenomenal! We here in the States (in a few hours now) are 'treated' to talking heads every Sunday across the board, but nothing comes close to what you posted. Is this a regular show in Britain?
If Fox News actually did a show with politicians and talking heads taking actual concerns from actual people and debating them the ratings would be off the charts!
Question Time us the BBCs premier talking heads show, of long sanfding and high reputation and I am frankly surprised to see Nigel getting such excellent coverage on it from the Biased Broadcasting Corporation. Ken Clark makes a bloody fool of himself as does the Labour woman who, after Nigel has spoken of the Germans desire to have their Deutschmark back can only warble "but that's sentimentality"
I note that Nigel agrees with Howard Flight when he said that the poor use Social Security to fund their fecundity which is no great surprise but why do tory politicians feel the need to wave their hands around apologising to Dave whenever they accidentally tell the truth (or Right -Speak as Hilary Clinton might put it). Overheard at a bus stop. Slapper #1 (pregnant ) to slapper #2 "I 'ope me next kid is a boy cuz the The Council will 'ave to put us a three bedroom house"
Nigel did well on QT and even the audience applauded his remarks. Quite a shock since normally it is full of left leaning folk.
Seeing your link reminded me of something that's been bugging me.
Does/did the government say that if a petition gets 100,000 signatures, then the petition will be discussed in Parliament?
The reason I ask is that I have signed 3 of these so far, one stated they had 46,000 names and one had just over 30,000. You also link to another in your sidebar. It seems to me that as soon as one appears to have some momentum another one with slightly more publicity starts and diverts attention (divide & conquer). Maybe I should just purchase some more foil for my hat.
From all I've seen and heard, there is no up-side and a massive down-side to their continued membership in the EU. Breaking with "old Europe" and banning all sharia law would be two moves that the country could make to bring the balance back to the nation and to society at large. If the Muslims want to leave the UK, they can do that -- maybe move to Yemen?
He's always so spot on, Trestin! Great, chatting yesterday, albeit for a fairly short time - see you next week, though, hopefully for a bit longer! ;)
That's a very accurate assessment, LL, and the thing is, the politicians are continually ignoring public opinion on these very facts - it's going to erupt sooner or later...... preferably sooner! See you next week on FB. ;)
I just sign every one that appears, David, using the theory that if I throw enough of it at the wall, some of it might actually stick! This Daily Express campaign, though, is a major breakthrough into the mainstream - and we know that the Express will relentlessly keep up the pressure on our slimy politicians....... because they can and they also see which way the wind's blowing in terms of public opinion/Euro collapse! :-P
By all means, Cato. Did you notice how red Clarke's face got after Nigel's first onslaught on him regarding Britain's entry into the Euro? He was blushing through the whole bloody programme - and I don't think it was anything to do with the green room whisky! :-P :-D
I totally agree, mate, Nigel was bang on the money, Dumblebore didn't interrupt him, (stands back in amazement!), the germans want their Deutschmark back, (they've been printing them "secretly"), and Howard Flight has been slapped down by Cameron and the rest of his Lefty Cabinet Clique of B.Liar-style sofa government twats for telling the truth, just as Enoch Powell was hung out to dry back in the 60's! >:o >:o >:o >:o >:o
This show is on BBC every thursday night, Christopher, and there is a live blog at All Seeing Eye and Biased-BBC and, usually, the chairman, (the grey-haired guy in the middle), interrupts all the Right Wingers while allowing the Lefties to prattle on for as long as they like. This video is edited highlights with the lefty crap cut out, but..... I get the feeling that someone has had a quiet word with the BBC about their Left-wing bias, because Nigel was barely allowed to get one intact sentence out prior to this programme! ;)
ps the reason for my frequent spelling mistakes is not only ignorance and being pissed but the "reply" window using this site is extremly titchy even though i'm using my widescreen telly. any techies out there know how to resolve this?

Farage is brilliance personified. Compare him with the blustering Clarke, the idiot Piero and the oh so smooth Ashdown.
I've voted Tory all my life but never again. Cameron has let me down and I shall be voting UKIP in future.
I'll nick the video if I may.
Ooops, the comment by 'guest' was me.

He had me fired up.
Yeah! I love Nigel. I'm glad they let him talk and gave him such good airtime.
We need him out here too! Brilliant. Happy Sunday, Spidey.
You, too, Bunnikins - Nigel is the man for the PM job, not slimy Scameron! :-P

I'm going to buy a copy of the Daily Express tomorrow, for the first time since my childhood: :-P Dave.
Good man! They're a lot more forthright than the Daily Mail. ;)
Or die horribly if they refuse either of the two options above! :-P :-D
