I received the following Email from Google, no doubt because one of the people from the Middle East who read the post in question, recently, took offence and flagged it as "pornography"!

Now, to me that is no more "pornographic" than Page 3 in the Sun or the Star newspapers - nope, this is nothing but an out-and-out attempt at censorship because some greasy, totalitarian, stone-age MooseLimb fuckwit(s) or one of their odious little UAF comrades, (Chavrecycler/UKFightback, Dierassistische, etc.), flagged it up - well FUCK HIM and FUCK THEM - I've disabled the fucking adverts myself!

Thanks, Bunni - Google's own rules state that there should be no <span><span><span>"photos or videos which contain full nudity or sexual</span><span> activities" </span></span></span>and this pic doesn't fall into either of those categories. I did notice that post they mention had been visited quite a few time lately from places like Saudi Arabia - it's not too hard to work out what happened and, as you say, with the pennies involved with AdSense, it's just not worth the aggravation and the control they attempt to exert. *DONT_KNOW*

ReplyDeleteYou just go into "Design", (which used to be Edit Layout), and click on edit in the "Blog Posts" field - down at the bottom of the list, you'll see "Show Ads Between Posts" - just check/uncheck the box and that enables/disables the option. ;)

I got the usual message of providing my phone number to send a reactivation code, when I simply won't do that, regardless. Why ask for my phone number, when I never created my account with one? Why do they ask for an alternative email when signing up, just incase situations like this should occur?
